Converting raw bytes to text - Is this the right way?
I am reading a.dat file, and using this library to convert it:

And now I am in a situation where I need to read the data again. I do not want to reinvent the wheel, so I want to use the same library I used to read the data to convert it back.
The problem is that this library expects a StreamReader to read the bytes, and not a byte array.
The problem is this: I have to read the bytes one by one, so I create a byte array and add each byte into it:
